Offline it’s pretty easy, as they mostly don’t reveal themselves to me. I just came back from the Baltimore show, where I was on every Marvel panel there was, and walked the show floor relentlessly. And every fan and reader I met was enthusiastic, joyful and polite. Ever the people who didn’t like something seemed sheepish to even want to mention it.

Online, it’s a different story. Here, I simply try to take very little of this seriously, as none of it genuinely touches me unless I allow it to.
